These terms govern your use of the Arcus Mons Bookkeeping Services website. By using this site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Not an offer, and not advice

Everything on this site is provided for general information. Nothing here is an offer to sell, a binding quote, or accounting, tax, legal or financial advice for your particular situation. Bookkeeping is not tax preparation, audit, attestation or CPA services, and nothing on this site should be read as claiming otherwise. Talk to us, and to your own tax preparer or counsel, before making a decision.

Pricing

Prices shown on this site — including the $95 per month starting price — are estimates current at the date of publication and describe the lowest tier of service. What you actually pay depends on your transaction volume, the number of accounts to be reconciled, the scope you select and the condition of your existing records, and it may change without notice. A binding price is given only in a written quote or engagement letter signed by us.

Our service area

We provide remote bookkeeping to businesses in all 50 states. Serving a business located in your state does not mean we maintain an office there, hold a licence there, or are qualified to advise on the law of that state.

Services are governed by a separate agreement

Any bookkeeping, cleanup, setup, reporting or support work we provide is governed by the written engagement agreement between Arcus Mons and your business, not by these terms. That agreement sets the scope, the price, the term and the responsibilities of each side. Where the two conflict, that agreement controls.

Your records remain yours

The financial records you give us, and the books we produce from them, belong to your business. Our handling of them is described in our Privacy Policy and in your engagement agreement. Accuracy depends on the completeness and accuracy of what you provide — we work from your records, and we do not audit or independently verify them.

Intellectual property

The Arcus Mons name, logo, page copy and design on this site are our property or used with permission, and are protected by applicable law. You may view and print pages for your own evaluation. You may not otherwise copy, republish or reuse them without our written permission. Third-party product names and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners and are used for identification only.

Acceptable use

Do not use this site to break the law, to interfere with its operation or security, or to gather information from it by automated means without our permission.

Availability

We aim to keep this site available and up to date, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error free, and we may change or withdraw any part of it at any time.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

This site is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Arcus Mons is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from your use of this site, or from reliance on anything published on it. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Links to third-party sites are provided for convenience. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and the courts located there have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them. This applies wherever in the country your business is located.

Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms at any time. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last changed, and continued use of the site means you accept the revised terms.
